Rock and Ice conditions of employment.

Thankyou for working with Rock and Ice please read the following conditions of employment carefully as you are required to accept these for this years season.

Qualifications: Rock and Ice may verify Leaders qualifications with the MLTUK or other relevant governing body.

At all times you must operate within the remit of your qualifications and experience.

Duties:

Your duties will be outlined in your leader breifing. 

Pay and expenses:

Daily rate SPA £110.00
Daily rate MIA  MIC  BMG £120.00



Rates of pay Course Director

Daily rate £130.00

If you are using your own transport for the course no expenses will be paid for your transport to and from the venue unless otherwise agreed with Richard Hogan.

No other expenses will be allowed without the approval of Richard Hogan.

Cancellation policy:

If we have to cancel any confirmed employment due to cancellations etc. we will pay you the following compensation if alternative work can't be found:

•  Over 4 weeks from the agreed date - £50.00
• Within 4 weeks - 50% of the daily rate.
• Within 2 weeks £80.00
• Within 1 week 100% of the daily rate and we will reatin you on course or compnay related duties.

Invoices should be submitted by email to Richard Hogan.

Professional judgement: 

You are expected to refuse to undertake any task that you think may place persons under an unjustifiable risk.

Your professional judgement and experience will take precedence over everything else.

You will be responsible for the safety of clinets assignerd to you and you should extend a duty of care at all times.

Rock and Ice

Any work has been given to you only on the basis that you extend the capacity of our company (Rock and Ice).

We trust you to care as if the client is your own but we will not tollerate 'poaching' of our clients.
Each Rock and Ice client has been sourced through hard work, word of mouth and expensive advertising.
We will reward leaders who report poaching of our clients as in some cases this has led to work being lost for many of our staff in the past - people who poach from us are poaching days work from you too.
Anyone caught poaching / promoting thier own interests, handing out cards etc.. swapping telephone numbers with clients etc. will not get paid for any work outstanding. We have to take a stance on this as it is basically theft.
